What are your products made from?
Our products are made from 100% recycled 92.5 sterling silver and semi-precious gemstones. We make everything by hand, so please embrace character and small imperfections. Each of our gorgeous gemstones is completely unique, so shapes and sizes will vary. We ship your new jewellery in a handmade pouch, created from recycled cotton tote bags and wrapped in recycled bubble wrap. We minimise on plastic wherever we can and donate to organisations that support a healthy environment.
Where are your gemstones from?
Samantha By The Sea purchases genuine, high quality gemstones from around the world. We use a number of suppliers from Australia, UK, Caribbean, USA and India and do our best to ensure each gemstone is ethically mined. (Unfortunately we cannot guarantee this, which is why we cleanse their energy as soon as we receive them and again upon completion of each piece of jewellery). We hope to one day travel the world and source our very own stones, first hand, to ensure our sustainability goals are being met.
How long does it take for my order to be made?
Please allow two to five weeks for your jewellery to be handmade once your order has been processed. Lots of love and hard work goes into creating each and every piece, so we don’t like to rush! We appreciate your patience during busy spells.
Can I order a gemstone that you don’t have in stock?
If there is a gemstone that you are absolutely in love with, or feel like you need in your life right now, please let us know and we will do our very best to source it for you. Please note, we would require a non-refundable security deposit for this option, which can be taken off the total price of your order.
Can I reserve a gemstone?
If you are drawn to a particular gemstone in our store but aren’t in a position to purchase your ring or pendant just yet, you have the option to pay a holding deposit to secure your stone. This deposit will be deducted from your order total once it has been processed. If you choose not to go ahead with your order, your deposit will not be refunded. We can only reserve gemstones for up to a month.
Do your pendants come with a chain?
We think that choosing a chain for your pendant is very personal, as we all have different preferences when it comes to length and style. Therefore we are currently not stocking chains and recommend that you use one you already have or choose a chain that you think looks perfect with your chosen gemstone.
How can I find out my ring size?
The best way to find out your ring size is to get measured at your local jewellery store. If you can’t get to a jewellery store, you can measure the inside diameter of a ring you currently have. Please provide your ring size in AUS/UK sizing (letters) and ensure it is correct, as we cannot resize rings.

I live near Byron Bay, do I have to pay for postage?
If you live in the area and would like to collect your jewellery from Byron Bay, you can select the 'PICK UP FROM BYRON BAY' shipping option at checkout and save yourself postage! We will email you to let you know when your jewellery is ready to be collected.
What happens if my order doesn’t arrive?
If 30 business days have passed and your order hasn’t arrived please let us know and we can declare your package as missing with Australia Post.
